That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our new and improved OpenMap, our revamped platform designed to turn your air pollution measurement data into actionable air quality awareness and insights — without the need for costly or complex third-party solutions.

Clarity Movement was founded in 2014; this year, 2024, marked ten years of our work empowering communities, governments, and industries to combat air pollution. Founded on the belief that clean air is a fundamental human right, we’ve grown from developing OPC sensor technology to deploying air quality sensors in more than 10,000 unique locations across 85+ countries. Our Quality Control (QC) Assessment and QC Flags features, previously available on the Clarity Dashboard, are now fully integrated into our Air Monitoring API and historical air quality data report downloads in the Clarity Dashboard.

We are thrilled to announce that the RAC Air Health Monitor (AHM), powered by Clarity's advanced Node-S air quality sensors, has been honored with the 2024 Clean Air Society of Australia & New Zealand (CASANZ) Innovation and Excellence Award in the Industry Excellence category. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to the quality of the data provided by our air quality measurement equipment, we are thrilled to announce the release of automated quality control (QC) features on the Clarity Dashboard. This enhancement marks a significant milestone in our ability to provide cost-effective, accurate, and trustworthy air quality data to our customers globally.

We are thrilled to announce that starting April 2024, the South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) is now integrating data from Clarity’s Node-S air quality sensors into their cutting-edge, real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) model. This model operates across a detailed grid of 1,218 cells, each 5 kilometers square, providing localized air quality updates to the residents of the South Coast AQMD region.

Though air pollution is an issue that is global in scale, action at the local level can be impactful in enacting tangible change and encouraging more widespread action. Local projects can serve as models for successful work at a global scale — such as how the Breathe London air quality monitoring network is now being used as a framework for the Breathe Cities program.
