Clarity Movement was founded in 2014 by a group of students at UC Berkeley that wanted to tackle the worldwide air pollution crisis with IoT-based air quality monitoring technology. Since then, our company has grown to see our quality monitoring solutions used already in 70+ countries around the world.

Clarity Movement transforms how governments, communities, and businesses understand and respond to air pollution. Our turn-key air quality monitoring solution supplements existing regulatory monitors with networks of hundreds to thousands of continuously-calibrated air quality sensors — providing real-time air quality data at a higher resolution and making air quality management more accessible, cost-effective, and actionable than ever before.

A notable example is Breathe London — the largest and most advanced official air quality sensor network in the world, with more than 350 sensors deployed around London. We were awarded this contract as the exclusive technology provider after an extremely competitive solicitation, and aim to replicate this program in cities around the world.
