Wildfire smoke has become a national crisis. This July, smoke blanketed much of North America and pushed air quality to hazardous levels from Spokane to Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C. Clarity's Node-S is already the only professional-grade air sensor on the EPA and US Forest Service Fire and Smoke Map, and we're building new capabilities specifically for wildfire smoke monitoring.
In this 30-minute session, co-founders David Lu (CEO) and Paolo Micalizzi (CTO) walk through four updates: native direct-to-cell satellite connectivity for Node-S, so data keeps flowing when cell networks fail or don't exist; carbon monoxide measurement up to 500 ppm on the Multi-Gas Module for near-fire deployments; the all-new Clarity Dashboard for managing your network and analyzing data during an emergency; and a smoke plume layer in OpenMap, which is now included in Sensing-as-a-Service.
The session closes with live Q&A covering power and connectivity in remote areas, API integrations, pricing, and how sensor networks can support early smoke detection.
Whether you operate a Clarity network today or are planning your first deployment, watch the recording and download the slides to get the full picture of our latest wildfire monitoring solutions.
